Maier Honored with 2020 Sukup Global Food Security Award

The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) presented the 2020 Sukup Global Food Security award during their virtual meeting this year, July 13-15, to Dirk Maier, a professor in the Iowa State University Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering. The award recognizes distinguished contributions to global food security through research, outreach and teaching.

Xinchun Tian receives ISU Postdoctoral Research Excellence Award

Xinchun Tian, a postdoctoral scholar in the Materials Science and Engineering department, was awarded the ISU Postdoctoral Research Excellence Award for his research on in situ biasing TEM studies. Madison Drent and Rachel Schmerbach receive Dean’s Leadership Award

The College of Engineering Dean’s Leadership Award recognizes outstanding undergraduate juniors and seniors who show exemplary leadership outside of a single department or organization.
