Divyesh Kumar, a junior in chemical and biological engineering from Ames, has been named a 2020 Goldwater Scholar. The nationally renowned scholarship recognizes exceptional sophomores and juniors who aspire to work in the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering research fields.

Atte Kadoma, a junior in materials engineering from Cottage Grove, Minnesota, has received a Goldwater Scholarship, the nation’s premier undergraduate scholarship in mathematics, natural sciences and engineering. She was selected on the basis of academic merit from a field of 1,223 nominees nationwide.

Nikita Kozak, a junior in mechanical engineering from Waukee, Iowa, has received a Goldwater Scholarship, the nation’s premier undergraduate scholarship in mathematics, natural sciences and engineering. He was selected on the basis of academic merit from a field of 1,223 nominees nationwide.

Neilson is selected as a Goldwater Scholar with Honorable Mention

Kathryn “Katie” Neilson, a junior in materials engineering from Morton, Illinois, has been selected as a 2018-2019 Barry Goldwater Scholarship Honorable Mention recipient. Iowa State University student named a 2015 Goldwater Scholar
