Max Mayfield: NCAA wrestler, computer engineer

Max Mayfield is the Iowa State Wrestling team’s 149-pound senior. He’s also a computer engineer. Two engineering students take home prizes from inaugural Iowa State pitch contest

The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Learning Community hosted its inaugural Innovation Pitch Competition on March 20. The competition was open to students from all disciplines on campus and drew 21 participants, ranging from freshmen through the graduate level. Four prizes were awarded, with two of them going to engineering students.
