Iowa State engineers among women recently recognized for contributions to STEM fields

On November 17, 2011, the Technology Association of Iowa (TAI) honored women and girls who are leaders science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Chloe Dedic, a senior in mechanical engineering, was recognized with the Collegiate Innovation and Leadership award and given a scholarship of $2,500. Chloe Dedic, a senior in mechanical engineering at Iowa State University, was recognized with the Collegiate Innovation and Leadership award by the Technology Association of Iowa. Female civil engineering students work to create outreach program

Civil Ladies, a diverse female club, is teaming up with the American Society of Civil Engineers to secure a grant to develop an energy-related outreach program.
