Each year, the Technology Association of Iowa celebrates and recognizes women who are innovators and leaders in science, technology, engineering and math. Camille Sloan Schroeder, who oversees the College of Engineering’s community outreach programs, was among the finalists for the Women of Innovation Award in the Diversity Champion category.
Chloe Dedic, a senior in mechanical engineering at Iowa State University, was recognized with the Collegiate Innovation and Leadership award by the Technology Association of Iowa. Tom Daniels, an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been chosen as one of the winners of a 2010 Prometheus Award from the Technology Association of Iowa.
