Prairie STRIPS program expands with new grant

Iowa State freshmen build multidisciplinary research, 3D printing technology experience

Three freshman honors students used 3D printing technology and more to conduct structural engineering research with Simon Laflamme, assistant professor of civil, construction and environmental engineering at Iowa State University. Materials science and engineering PhD student recognized for excellent research

Hanzheng Guo, a PhD student in materials science and engineering, was selected as the winner for the 2015 Zaffarano Prize, the highest research award for an ISU graduate student.
