Camille Schroeder recognized for leadership in promoting Women in STEM through K-12 outreach

Each year, the Technology Association of Iowa celebrates and recognizes women who are innovators and leaders in science, technology, engineering and math. Camille Sloan Schroeder, who oversees the College of Engineering’s community outreach programs, was among the finalists for the Women of Innovation Award in the Diversity Champion category.

ME senior honored with 2011 Women of Innovation award

Chloe Dedic, a senior in mechanical engineering at Iowa State University, was recognized with the Collegiate Innovation and Leadership award by the Technology Association of Iowa. The awards ceremony was held November 17, 2011. Dedic is among nine who were honored during the event. Read the full story.

Tom Daniels wins technology award

Tom Daniels, an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been chosen as one of the winners of a 2010 Prometheus Award from the Technology Association of Iowa.
