Richard Wlezien has been named the Vance and Arlene Coffman Endowed Department Chair in Aerospace Engineering at Iowa State University. NASA astronaut and Iowa State University AerE alum Clay Anderson has been named to the crew of the space shuttle Discovery for a mission to the International Space Station early next year. This will be Anderson’s second assignment in space, following a five-month stint onboard the International Space Station in 2007.
