Hans Mueller, sophomore in industrial engineering, has taken his passion for FRIST Robotics worldwide. As a junior in high school, he spoke with over 10 countries’ state departments, including the U.S., about building a Robots Without Borders initiative. After all 10 countries rejected the idea, Mueller didn’t give up – he decided to go bigger, venturing to the U.N. in New York City. Robots Without Borders became a part of the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals 2018 under the FIRST Robotics UDEM SDG Alliance.
Watch more to learn how Mueller found inspiration for his Robots Without Borders initiative and implemented it all while still in high school.
