Seven ME graduate students honored for teaching, research

Seven mechanical engineering graduate students were recognized today for their research and teaching excellence.

Caroline Hayes, ME department chair, and Abhijit Chandra, ME Director of Graduate Education, presented the awards during a short ceremony Tuesday afternoon in Black Engineering Building. Each awardee received a letter of commendation from ISU President Wendy Wintersteen, a certificate of achievement, and a set of cardinal and gold honor cords which are to be worn at commencement. The ME department collaborated with the Graduate College to select this semester’s award winners.
