Iowa State spring undergraduate commencement moves to Jack Trice Stadium

Iowa State University President Steven Leath this morning (April 29) announced a new location for ISU’s spring undergraduate commencement ceremony. The May 7 celebration will be moved to Jack Trice Stadium, the university’s largest venue. University officials predict attendance at this spring’s undergraduate commencement ceremony will exceed capacity at the traditional Hilton Coliseum location.

Presidential research initiative builds, advances four big data research teams

The second round of awards from Iowa State University’s Presidential Initiative for Interdisciplinary Research will help build four big data research teams and launch major projects in digital agriculture and intelligent text analysis.

CCEE professors Jim Alleman, Say Kee Ong awarded 2015 Cerwick Medallion

CoE faculty members receive Presidential Initiative awards

 Balaji Narasimhan, associate dean for research, and Daniel Attinger, associate professor of mechanical engineering, both received awards from the Presidential Initiative for Interdisciplinary Research program created by President Steven Leath.
