Iowa State University President Steven Leath this morning (April 29) announced a new location for ISU’s spring undergraduate commencement ceremony. The May 7 celebration will be moved to Jack Trice Stadium, the university’s largest venue. University officials predict attendance at this spring’s undergraduate commencement ceremony will exceed capacity at the traditional Hilton Coliseum location.
The second round of awards from Iowa State University’s Presidential Initiative for Interdisciplinary Research will help build four big data research teams and launch major projects in digital agriculture and intelligent text analysis.
Last fall Jim Alleman and Say Kee Ong were appointed Cerwick Faculty Professors – an award that recognizes and promotes the excellence of the faculty in the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering (CCEE) at Iowa State University.
