Who was your most influential mentor while at Iowa State?
I have always really looked up to my mom! She is hard-working, caring, loving, understanding, and knows how to keep me motivated during tough times.
What would you consider your greatest accomplishments at Iowa State?
Raising over $4,000 for the Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, graduating with honors with my chemical engineering degree and psychology minor, running my first marathon and winning an ISU intramural T-shirt.
What’s your favorite memory of your time at Iowa State?
Iowa vs. Iowa State football game fall 2019 (even though we lost).
What’s your favorite place on campus?
Central campus when the fall leaves are changing color!
What’s your advice for first-year Iowa State engineering students?
Meet the people around you, whether it be clubs, classes, your dorm floor, everything is easier when you have a strong network of people around you!
What do you like to do in your free time?
Spending time outside running, hiking, disc golfing, biking, camping, skiing. board games, ISU intramurals (especially basketball, racquetball, ultimate frisbee)
What are your plans for after graduation?
Moving to Omaha, Nebraska, to start as a full-time engineer with Cargill.
