What would you consider your greatest accomplishments at Iowa State?
This is my second attempt at obtaining a degree, so not only being able to obtain the degree, but to do it with all of the success that I have had.
What’s your favorite memory of your time at Iowa State?
As a CyRide driver, I have had a lot of interesting experiences related to the University and students. I was driving the #1 Red route the night of the riot that ended VEISHEA and got to experience all of the ensuing chaos that night. There were also multiple flash floods and blizzards that slowed us down but did not stop us from driving.
But, my favorite memory or event was when I found out my appeal for re-admission was approved.
What’s your favorite place on campus?
For working, the labs in Coover. For studying, tier 7 in the library
What’s your advice for first-year Iowa State engineering students?
Work on personal projects in your free time. This helps build engineering fundamentals, lets you discover what you are passionate about, and those skills are what employers want to see.
What are your plans for after graduation?
I am pursuing a master’s in electrical engineering here at Iowa State University.
