Klocke honored with Academic Advising Impact award

Andrea Klocke, academic adviser in materials science and engineering, received the 2013-2014 Academic Advising Impact award, given by the University Academic Advising Committee.

The award recognizes faculty or professional staff who have continued to demonstrate outstanding performance in advising Iowa State University undergraduate students throughout their professional career.

Devna Popejoy-Sheriff, academic adviser in industrial and manufacturing systems engineering, was the College of Engineering Adviser of the Year for 2012-2013 and was recognized during the college’s convocation held in September.

The group of award winners is honored on a website and in a Memorial Union display (ground floor) that will be up Nov. 18-29.
