The Iowa State University Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) welcomes Andrea Mauton to its staff as business administrator.
Mauton has previously worked as a human resources coordinator for University Human Resources serving the College of Engineering. She was in this role since January 2020, and before that, she worked as the Logistic Manager and Head Blender for Little Woods Herbs and Teas. In that position, she had the opportunity to create tea blends and sell bulk botanicals to customers in the Ames area, as well as cross the United States.
“I am so excited to take on the role of the business administrator for MSE,” Mauton said. “I have had so many wonderful experiences working with the department during my role as an HR coordinator. I have always been impressed with the department’s dedication to going above and beyond to meet the needs of its students, staff and faculty members. I cannot wait to be a part of the team that makes that happen.”
Mauton received her bachelor’s degree in international business and marketing from Iowa State.
