Roy Gu retired in May from his position as associate professor in the civil, construction and environmental engineering department. He has made many contributions to the field, taught regular courses and is associated with the Institute for Transportation; 34 publications with contributions by Gu have been published during his tenure at Iowa State. Gu was one of the founding associate professors for the environmental engineering program, which was established in 2020.
