Reason you got involved with ISU CCEE GOLD

“I got involved with ISU CCEE GOLD because I wanted to join a group that not only just helps me network with others in my industry but also helps me to develop as a professional. I also wanted to join a group that allows me to share what I have learned in my professional career to help other professionals and students with their own professional career goals.”

Best part of being in ISU CCEE GOLD

“The best part of being in ISU CCEE GOLD is going to the events and connecting with past classmates and current students.”

Top advice you would give to engineering students

“The best advice I would give to engineering students is to not be afraid to put yourself out there and create relationships with not only the faculty and staff of the CCEE department but with employers when they come and present in class, at ASCE/AGC meetings … Sometimes it just takes one conversation and someone who recognizes your face to lead to a job opportunity.”
