Iowa State, Ames Lab researchers preparing for Blue Waters supercomputer

Monica Lamm, assistant professor of chemical and biological engineering and associate scientist at Ames Laboratory, is part of a team at Iowa State University that is developing computational chemistry at the petascale. The team is preparing for the most powerful supercomputer in the world, Blue Waters, which is expected to come online in 2011. Iowa State is part of the consortium that is developing Blue Waters.
