Iowa State agricultural and biosystems engineering students studying industrial technology (ITec) will benefit from a Gene Haas Foundation Manufacturing Scholarship that was recently awarded on campus.
ITec students taking Technology Systems Management 240: Introduction to Manufacturing Processes for Metals and Technology Systems Management 340: Advanced Automated Manufacturing Processes will benefit from the $20,000 during 2021.
Iowa State University’s Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (ISU ABE) assistant teaching professors Russ Hoffman and Saxon Ryan wrote the winning scholarship grant application.
This is the second time the Haas scholarship has been awarded to a group within ISU ABE.
The Gene Haas Foundation is a private foundation committed to manufacturing education.
