Four Iowa State University students, senior in electrical engineering in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering recently received a $2,000 scholarship each from the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Power and Energy Society. These four students, Yue Chen, Zachee Saleng, Connor Smith and Rebecca Franzen were chosen based on their academic performance and drive for a career in power and energy.
IEEE Power and Energy Society provides $2,000 scholarships to undergraduate students annually. Typically, roughly two students receive these scholarships from IEEE Power and Energy Society at ISU, but this year four students earned the scholarship.
