Cyclone Racing takes 4th place overall at FSAE Lincoln

Cyclone Racing’s Formula Team took a fourth place overall finish at the Formula SAE Lincoln race last week in Lincoln, Neb.

The Iowa State team competed against 77 other registered teams and finished just 3.1 (out of a total 1000) points behind the third-place team. Iowa State’s team also finished 4th in Endurance, 6th in Autocross, 5th in Skid Pad, 26th in Presentation, 33rd in Acceleration, and 36th in cost. The team finished in the second tier of the design category, scoring 110 of 150 points and tying for 7th place with six other teams.

The race took place at the Lincoln Airpark June 21 through 24 and included teams from the United States, Canada, and Mexico as well as Brazil, India, Pakistan, and South Korea.
