The Fluid Power Educational Foundation (FPEF) Board of Trustees awarded Eric Herbers of New Vienna, Iowa a $2,000 scholarship. Mr. Herbers is a senior in agricultural systems technology and was awarded the prestigious scholarship underwritten by Danfoss.
“A minimum GPA, an essay, and three letters of recommendation were required from each applicant. The Board of Trustees is pleased to award these scholarships to students of such high caliber,” said Randal Smith, CFPHS, FPEF Chair. “Our goal is to help individuals enrolled in high schools, technical colleges and engineering schools pursue their interests in fluid power.”
The FPEF awarded ten (10) scholarships totaling $20,000 for the 2016 school year to students pursuing fluid power technology fields of study.
