Several members of the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering faculty and student body attended the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) conference in New Orleans from July 25 – 29, 2015. The department has been a consistently strong presence at the conference, and this year’s recognitions are as follows:
ABE student recognitions:
- 4th Place Fountain Wars Competition
- Competition in the Engineering AEM Report (AEM Report compiled by Rene Schmidt)
- 1st Place in the Technology AEM Report (AEM Report compiled by AST Club)
- 6th Place International ¼ Scale Tractor Student Design Competition
- 2015-2016 IPC Treasurer (Alex Martin)
- 3rd and 6th Place finish in YPC 5K (Jason Schuster and Nick Schrader)
- Participation in Undergraduate Project Poster Competition (Katlyn DeVoe)
- 2015 Student Honor Award Winner (Nick Schrader)
