Engineering grad program remains among nation’s best according to U.S. News and World Report

Iowa State University’s College of Engineering again ranks No. 43 nationally in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2014 edition of America’s Best Graduate Schools, and among public institutions is ranked 24th overall.

“In the College of Engineering at Iowa State, we work hard to offer our graduate students excellent educational and research experiences,” said Gary Mirka, associate dean for undergraduate and graduate education. “We are proud to be recognized among the top engineering programs as we continue to build on our strong reputation of providing outstanding opportunities to our students.”

Nine engineering specialties at Iowa State ranked in the top 25 among programs at public universities. The agricultural and biosystems engineering program ranked No. 6 nationally and No. 5 among publics in the “Biological/Agricultural” category.
