James Klausner, professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at the University of Florida, is a finalist for the mechanical engineering department chair position at Iowa State. He will give a seminar on February 9, 2012, from 10 – 10:50 a.m. in 2004 Black Engineering. During the seminar, Klausner will discuss his research and vision for higher education in mechanical engineering, as well as take questions from the audience.
In addition to the public seminar, he will meet informally with the College of Engineering’s faculty, staff, students, and partners during his campus visit.
