The saying “like father, like son” for the Berbano family of Ames means a double graduation from Iowa State University this weekend, with father Orville Berbano earning a master’s degree in business and son Seth receiving his bachelor’s degree in materials engineering.
The Berbanos were among the estimated 3,367 students who were awarded degrees from ISU at ceremonies Friday night at C.Y. Stephens Auditorium and Saturday afternoon at Hilton Coliseum and Stephens Auditorium.
