Construction engineering teams take top places in competition

Three teams of construction engineering students from Iowa State placed first in the 18th Annual Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) Region IV Student Competition held October 27-30 in Nebraska City, Nebraska. ISU teams in the commercial, design-build, and residential divisions placed first. The heavy/highway team placed second. Read the full story.

Iowa State receives second place in AGC Outstanding Student Chapter contest

Iowa State University Associated General Contractors (AGC) Student Chapter was awarded second place in the 2010 AGC Outstanding Student Chapter Contest for its work building new handicap accessible ramps along the Skunk River Water Trail in Ames.
