It’s official: As of July 1, Jonathan Wickert is the 11th dean of the College of Engineering. Wickert, former chair of the mechanical engineering department at Iowa State, succeeds Mark J. Kushner, who joined the University of Michigan faculty in September 2008. James Bernard, Anson Marston Distinguished Professor of Engineering, served as interim dean.
