For his paper titled, “The Role of NDT in My Career“, Matthew Meyer has been given the American Society for Nondestructive Testing 2013 Engineering Undergraduate Award. Meyer, a senior in aerospace engineering, will be given recognition at the annual awards banquet of the ASNT Annual Conference in November.
The purpose of the engineering undergraduate award is to provide a financial incentive to engineering undergraduate students enrolled in engineering programs accredited by ABET or its equivalent to choose NDT as their field of specialization. The University Programs Committee of ASNT selects up to three $3,000 awards each year, pending merit and number of submissions.
