Rentech Nitrogen, located in East Dubuque, Illinois, announced the promotion of Mark Conter to senior mechanical engineer. Conter, who received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State, has been with Rentech Nitrogen since 2005. He previously served as process safety management facilitator and mechanical project engineer. Conter also recently achieved his third American Petroleum Institute global certification.
