Student poster competition recognizes outstanding multiphase flow research

CoMFRE held a student poster competition at the 2022 Symposium and Member Meeting in October, and four graduates and one undergraduate student won top poster honors.
Graduate student winners
First place: Roy Pillers, ($300), Plume Spreading Due to Floor Conditions of a Plunging Liquid Jet
Second place: Fynn Reinbacher, ($200), Pulsed Microwave Energy Deposition in a Sodium Seeded Micro-Channel Detonation
Third place: Krishnamurthy Ravichandar, ($100), Droplet Breakage Probability in Turbulent Liquid Emulsions
Undergraduate student winner
First place: Jacob Knuerr, ($300), Using Magnetic Resonance Imaging to Visualize Multiphase Flows
