Nicholas Oldham, sophomore in materials engineering, was one of four Iowa State students to be chosen for the prestigious Barry Goldwater Scholarship, which is the premier undergraduate scholarship in mathematics, natural sciences and engineering in the U.S.
Divyesh Kumar, a junior in chemical and biological engineering from Ames, has been named a 2020 Goldwater Scholar. The nationally renowned scholarship recognizes exceptional sophomores and juniors who aspire to work in the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering research fields.
