Industrial Engineering 441, a one-semester Capstone Design course, gives students the opportunity to engage in industry projects and practice industrial engineering under the guidance of an experienced registered professional engineer. Cardinal and gold runs in the blood for the Weilers
When Patrick Weiler graduated from Iowa State in 1980 with a degree in agricultural engineering, he began a tradition of support for his alma matter. The legacy now spans two generations of the Weiler family, including Megan (Weiler) Green (’06 finance), Joel Weiler (’10 nutr sci) and Katelyn (Weiler) Freeseman (’12 civil engr). As Iowa State alums, the Weilers said they are proud to help support future generations of Cyclones engineers.
