Dr. Ravikumar Gelli’s research on securing critical energy infrastructure and enabling trustworthy infrastructure for clean energy resources has gained national interest as recognized by his National Science Foundation (NSF), Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA), and DOE Cybersecurity Energy Security and Emergency Response (CESER) federal and state-funded multi-million dollar research grants ($3.6M+ including state and federal funds and cost-share).
During COVID-19, every activity has gone through changes and adaptations, Iowa State’s Society of Women in Engineering (SWE) is no exception to that. But SWE has found a way to continue to offer K-12 STEM outreach, utilizing the unique tools of technology.

Kristen Constant, Iowa State’s vice president and chief information officer, a Morrill Professor, the Wilkinson Professor of Interdisciplinary Engineering and former chair of materials science and engineering, has been named a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
Each semester outstanding seniors are selected, representing majors in the College of Engineering. One outstanding senior is named student marshal, representing the college at commencement.
