Nigel Reuel’s startup awarded honorable mention in John Pappajohn Iowa Entrepreneurial Venture Competition

Skroot Laboratory Inc., a startup launched by assistant professor of chemical and biological engineering professor Nigel Reuel and incubating at the Carver Co-Lab on the north end of campus, went head to head with other top emerging Iowa businesses in the finals of the 2020 John Pappajohn Iowa Entrepreneurial Venture Competition.

Open access paper by Somani in top five viewed in subject area

A paper published in by Arun Somani, Distinguished Professor of electrical and computer engineering, Phillip and Virginia Sproul Professor, and associate dean for research in the College of Engineering; Naga Durga Prasad Avirneni and Prem Kumar Ramesh, both former Iowa State University graduate students, is in the top five viewed papers in its subject area in the open access journal PeerJ Computer Science.
