Four Cyclone Engineers represent their sports on the All-Cyclone Team

Iowa State Athletics’ Outstanding Scholar-Athletes Celebrating Achievements and Recognitions Showcase (OSCARS) recognizes student-athletes for their tremendous accomplishments within athletics, the community and the classroom.

One OSCARS honor is the All-Cyclone Team, which consists of one student-athlete from each team who recorded the highest GPA from the previous spring and fall semesters.

This year four student-athletes from the College of Engineering were named to the All-Cyclone Team:

  • Charlie Kolar, football, mechanical engineering
  • Nicole Martindale, soccer, civil engineering
  • Sami Williams, softball, software engineering
  • Bailey Righi, women’s track and field, software engineering

Kolar was named the captain of the All-Cyclone Team for obtaining the highest grade point average (3.99) among everyone on the team.
