Iowa State ABE team brings home multiple awards from tractor competition
A team of engineers from Iowa State brought home multiple awards in the International ¼ Scale Tractor Student Design Competition that took place in Peoria, Illinois earlier this month. The ABE Cyclone Power Pullers took home first place awards for Best Appearance, Manufacturability, Innovation, Written Design Report and the Maneuverability categories. The team also won a $500 prize for taking fifth in the overall competition.

CBE’s Tessonnier gets research funding from NSF Catalysis program
Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (CBE) faculty member Jean-Philippe Tessonnier has been awarded research funding through the National Science Foundation (NSF) Catalysis program. The program is part of the NSF’s Division of Chemical, Bioengineering, Environmental and Transport Systems.
