Katy Fish, an Ottumwa High School junior, was selected for a summer internship at Cargill Corn Milling in Eddyville. Fish, who plans to pursue mechanical engineering at Iowa State University, has taken courses at OHS that support her career path, including advanced math and a Project Lead The Way engineering course.
The internship will require Fish to work a minimum of 160 hours this summer. She will job shadow a variety of engineering jobs at the Eddyville plant.
“I’m excited to see what is like to work in a facility with other engineers,” said Fish.
