Harding’s lecture on the Fukushima nuclear power plant is online

On March 30, 2011, Margaret Harding, a member of Iowa State’s Engineering College Industrial Advisory Council, presented her lecture “Fukushima: Timeline, Facts, and Implications for Nuclear Power.” Click here to watch the lecture.

Harding has more than 30 years of experience in the nuclear industry, spending many of those years as the vice president of engineering quality at GE Nuclear Energy. She is now a consultant to the nuclear power industry, where she advises clients on a wide variety of opportunities and issues.

As the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan has unfolded over the past week, Harding has been called upon NBC, Fox News, CNN, The New York Times, and many others to explain and help bring clarity to the situation.
