Brian Capesius, a senior in mechanical engineering, came up with an idea to try to break the knockout record last May. On Tuesday, March 8, 2011, his idea became a reality. Gathering at Hilton Coliseum, 360 students, staff, and faculty became the greatest number of people to play the basketball game of knockout. They will submit their achievement to the Guinness Book of World Records, as well as ESPN.
