Alum’s company named best mid-sized company to work for in Northeast Ohio

Bill Gardiner, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in engineering in 1955, moved to Cleveland in the late 1950s to join a local Trane sales engineering team. He bought the franchise in 1962 and staffed it with a handful of employees. The business, which sells heating and air conditioning equipment, energy efficiency upgrades, and related electronics, was judged by Top Workplaces 2010 to be the best mid-sized company to work for in Northeast Ohio.  (Gardiner Trane news link)
