Discovering new ways of learning abroad

Tyler Miller didn’t always know what his path in college would be. Growing up in the small town of Northfield, Minnesota, Miller knew he wanted to do something in the sciences. When it came time to make a decision, Miller turned to his parents who gave him guidance that led him to Iowa State.

Student awarded Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship to study abroad in Denmark

Cody Hoover, junior in software engineering, was selected to receive a Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to supplement his studies in Denmark. 2011 Dean’s Student Leadership recipients announced

Three students were selected to receive the 2011 Dean’s Student Leadership Award. The recipients are Kaila Krieser (EE), Yamille Perez-Rodriguez (CE), and Luke Roling (ChemE).
