More students than ever before are enrolled at Iowa State University and the College of Engineering for the 2013-14 academic year.
This fall the college has an enrollment of 8,284 total students, surpassing last year’s record enrollment of 7,508.
Undergraduate enrollment of 7,123 is up 9.7 percent from last year, and graduate enrollment of 1,161 is up 14.6 percent. Engineering continues to be the largest college on campus.
The college has been preparing for continued growth through strategic planning, increased faculty, renovation and expansion of buildings, and dedicated student resources.
