U.S. News and World Report’s 2013 “American’s Best Colleges” ranking are out and Iowa State’s College of Engineering ranked 20th among public universities whose highest degree is a doctorate. This is up from 22nd last year.
Among all national universities, Iowa State’s undergraduate engineering program ranked 35th (an eight-way tie) overall, up from 39th last year.
In biological/agricultural engineering, Iowa State ranked 4th among all national universities and 4th among public universities. In materials engineering, ISU ranked 9th among public universities and 15th among all national universities.
